The inverter converts the energy coming from the grid-type solar power plant into alternating current and sends it to the distribution system, which we call the grid. As a rule, the grid solar electric station is connected to the customer’s internal network and the customer is included in the net metering program, which means that in case of excess generation, the generated electric energy passes through the network, and by means of a double meter, a positive balance is recorded for the customer, which he can use later. The mains converter is switched off in the event of a power outage. It is impossible to connect accumulators to it.
An autonomous solar power plant is not connected to the grid, unlike the grid one. If connected to the network, it will be damaged. Its task is to transform electric energy accumulated in accumulators by autonomous solar power stations into electric energy of the voltage desired by the user (230 volts).
As for the hybrid solar power plant, it has the ability to work both in autonomous and grid mode, thus it has a significant advantage over grid or autonomous plants. It has mainly two functions:
